Inbound Exchange Student Program (International)
申請條件 / Qualification
- The Exchange Student Program is open exclusively to students from partner institutions which has an exchange agreement with our school. All applicants must be officially nominated by the International Office of home (partner) university and who meet the eligibility requirements below are permitted to apply.
- Academic Requirement: Above GPA 2.5 (out of 4)
- Language Proficiency: TOEFL IBT 64 or IELTS 5 or TOEIC 700 or HSK4. (We do not require an official English test score if the student has nationality from an Anglophone country)

交換期限可為一學期或兩學期。
The exchange period can be one semester or one academic year (=2 semesters).

選課資訊 / Course Registration Information
- During the exchange period, students may choose to enroll in Mandarin Learning Courses(參word檔), courses range from absolute beginner to advanced.
- For information on other available courses, please refer to the link provided. When searching for English-taught courses, please select “The Spring Semester of 2025-2026 (114學年期第2學期)” and filter by “Lecture in English” or the “EMI Course” icon.

- 1) The academic unit and course instructor reserve the right to determine whether exchange students may enroll in a course, based on class size as well as the students’ language proficiency and academic level. 2) Regarding English types: EAP and ESP courses may use some Chinese as supplementary instruction; they are not fully taught in English.
- Courses offered as part of any Dual Degree Program are not available to students who are not enrolled in those programs.

With a Resident Visa, students must apply for the ARC (Alien Resident Certificate) within 15 days after entering Taiwan. You can submit your ARC application in one of the following ways. In person at the National Immigration Agency office in Taoyuan, or Online via the official portal:

保險 / Insurance Requirements
Students participating in the exchange program are required to purchase their own insurance in their home country before traveling to Taiwan. We strongly recommend purchasing insurance in your home country, as it generally offers more complete coverage and better language support. Proof of insurance must be provided in either Chinese or English and must be valid for the entire duration of the exchange period. The insurance must ensure sufficient coverage for both medical and accident-related expenses. As a reference, the following minimum coverage amounts are recommended:
– Accident insurance: at least TWD 1,000,000
– Medical insurance: at least TWD 1,000,000
住宿 / CYCU Accommodation
Re-Cheng Dorm (4 people per room)：NT$ 16,500 / per person/ per semester.

Students should purchase mattress and blanket by themselves.
Re Cheng Dorm- No public PC in dorm. Students need to bring a laptop.
