Waseda started a four-week summer session in 2014. We welcomed more than 140 international students in 2016. They were highly motivated international students from 65 universities in 13 different countries and regions around the world. The session is open to international students as well as Waseda students. Participants can take part in 2 courses out of 15 which are wide aspects of literature and art, business, culture, economics, history, politics and sociology in the context of Japan and Asia pacific, offering 4 credits for 2 courses. The classes are taught in English by experienced faculty members from Waseda and visiting professors from the top global universities. Japanese classes can be taken as an optional course. We will also organize extracurricular activities such as field trips, site visits and cultural events to experience Tokyo and Japan.

Summer School program will be held at Kansai University’s main campus:
Senriyama campus. We offers 2 week and 4 week long programs from June to July 2017. There are 4 subjects, all taught in English, which students can choose from. We also offer Japanese language course as an optional course.
Students will enjoy interaction with Japanese students during their participation in this program while experiencing Japanese culture and language.

We are excited to announce Temple University was selected as a host institution by the Institute for International Education (IIE) for the Summer 2017 Global Experience & Training (GET) initiative. This 6-week program, June 19 – August 1, 2017, connects ambitious and academically gifted international undergraduates with hands-on research opportunities in the US.
Research projects are supervised 30-hours per week by a faculty member, who will offer academic and professional guidance. Additionally, GET students will have a 3-credit independent study to write a corresponding research paper for their project. At the of the 6-week term, GET students will submit their research papers and give a poster presentation illustrating the research methods used and outcomes achieved over the summer.
Temple University’s Global Programs will provide orientation, which will include information sessions designed to acclimate students to Temple and Philadelphia, as well as activities introducing US culture and life.
The GET program fee will include the 3-credit internship along with housing, meals, and all activities.
